9 April 2010 was a historical day for Julie’s. For the first time ever, a group of 41 businessmen from China visited Julie’s biscuit factory in Alor Gajah, Melaka. They are our key distributors and their sub-distributors. They are from 17 different provinces in China. These provinces have a total of about 830 million people.

We are also grateful that the State has taken a keen interest in our affairs. The Chairman of the Malacca State Industrial, Trade, Entrepreneur Development & Co-operative, Datuk Hj. Md. Yunos Bin Husin was present to welcome the visitors. He made a statement to the press that he was confident that the visitors would be impressed as Julie’s biscuits are manufactured in a clean and very hygienic environment.

For your information, Julie’s biscuits have been in the China market for more than 20 years. They were mainly in the southern part of China. With this visit, we expect Julie’s biscuits to be distributed throughout the whole of China.
